impact-resistant and hygienic wall cladding system
CLADDING WITH PVC PANELS IS A COMMON SYSTEM FOUND IN FOOD PLANTS. HOWEVER, THE HOLLOW PANELS HAVE POOR IMPACT RESISTANCE, AND WATER CAN PENETRATE THROUGH THE PANEL JOINTS.
PROBLEMS EXPERIENCED IN WET FOOD ENVIRONMENTS:
MOLD
WOOD ROT
UNHYGIENIC CONDITIONS
CAULKING TURNED RED/BLACK

These impact-resistant panels were used to cover a concrete grade-beam, and bridge over top onto FRP. SureBond bonds chemically to both surfaces, to provide a total hermetic seal.

All vertical joints are sealed, as well as at the bottom near slab grade. We are bonded on the Schluters as well with no caulking used.

Concrete anchor bolts are chemically sealed.

Call SureBond if you wish to clad over top of a rough slab, or a contaminated grade beam.
